MJ is a 2 1/2 year old Havanese mix (likely a Havanese x Lhasa mix) with a wonderful personality. He is friendly and loving with men, women and children over the age of 9. His foster family reports MJ is 20 1/2 pounds of love and happiness. Even the vet who cleaned MJ's teeth remarked on his wonderful temperament.
MJ has grade 1 medial luxating patellas bilaterally. His adoptive family will need to monitor him for pain or lameness associated with luxating patellas. His foster mom says that she hasn't seen any indication of pain or lameness during his time in foster care. It would be good for MJ to lose a pound or two which would be good for his patellas.
MJ is a terrific and well-mannered family member. He's completely house trained and touches the door to let you know when he needs to go outside. He has good leash manners too and sleeps a
ll night in his crate without a sound. MJ rides in his crate very well in the car for car trips also. MJ gets along with other dogs, particularly female dogs. He loves being with his family and would enjoy being part of a family where someone is around much of the day.
