GeoPanSmFaceCan you spell a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e? This 14-pound pair are making themselves at home in their foster-to-adopt abode. Both FosterToAdoptProgramIconwere surrendered when they didn't take too well to being herded by the resident German Shepherd and spending lots of time in their crates to prevent conflicts, but being transplanted to a home where they are the top dogs has shown just how resilient our sweet Havanese can be.

Panda1Georgie and Panda are 7 years old. Panda is the Havanese that looks like a...panda, with her pretty grey and white coat and dark-rimmed eyes. Georgie is a cream stunner with dark tips on his ears. They are great eaters and are working hard on house-training and figuring out how to inform their new family that it's time to get outside!

Handsome Georgie was diagnosed with a heart murmur last Spring, but meds have kept him happy and symptom-free. Early reports indicate they are lovable and enjoy cuddling and are happy to meet and greet everyone in their small neighborhood. Three boys in their foster-to-adopt home and a new mom who's a runner are keeping this handsome pair in tip-top shape.

Georgie and Panda are in a foster-to-adopt home in PA.

These dogs are in our "Foster To Adopt" program, which means they're being fostered by their eventual adopters. Information on the program can be found by clicking the "Foster To Adopt Icon" above. Participation in this program may increase your chances of adopting a Havanese.
