BJ and Pia are a charming and loving bonded pair of Havanese. Four-year-old Pia is 15 pounds of love and happiness. She's a beautiful silver color with big dark eyes. BJ, a beautiful black, tan and silver Havanese, weighs in at 20 pounds. He is 5 or 6 years old. Both were very loved and cared for in their previous home, but their owner died suddenly. They have been through a lot and will need a home together.
BJ is a sweet, social gentleman who is happy to meet you, and then is even happier to veg out on the couch next to you. He's very easy-going, mild-mannered, docile and quiet. BJ will happily come to you for love and attention, but when he has had enough he will simply go about his business. He has been wonderful and loving with the foster family's 10-year old son; however he is a little less enamored with their grabby, loud 4-year old son, so for that reason he would be better with children 8 years and older.
BJ's favorite things in life are people and lounging. If he can have both together, life is perfect!
Pia is a bubbly, social, friendly girl. Her personality shines with everyone she meets. She will greet you with smiles and cheer, then happily snuggle up on the couch and sneak in a kiss or two. She is a delight with children and other dogs, and is sweet with strangers and in crowds.
Pia is leash-trained, but could use some good handling and control. She is just SO excited to be outside and visiting with people that she pulls a bit. Her foster family has worked with her and she is smart and eager to please, so a little training will go a long way.
Pia and her brother, BJ, are looking for a home that will cherish their charming personalities and spend lots of time with them. They're a good reminder that two Havanese are twice-as-nice!
BJ and Pia are being fostered in VA.
