Daisy is a nine-year-old girl who is a model of good behavior. She is good natured, well trained, and very loving.
She weighs 19 pounds and has a white coat with dark marks. She loves to be petted.
Daisy enjoys lying on the back rest of the sofa, looking out at the street. And she loves belly rubs! If she could combine belly rubs with lying on the sofa back rest, she'd be in heaven. She is completely trustworthy with house-training and is very responsive to any verbal command. Daisy is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained, and she sleeps in her crate at night without a problem. She's not a barky dog, though she does bark to alert you to strange noises or people.
Daisy loves everyone, both grownups and kids. Her experience with cats is unknown. She wasn't around other dogs in her other home, but since coming into foster care, she is in constant contact with two small Chihuahuas. They have been left together in the house, and all have done very well. Daisy firmly believes she should get all the attention, however!
Daisy would love being with someone all the time. She follows her foster humans from room to room but settles down quietly as long as she's with someone. She was raised with children and would probably enjoy the company of children again.
Daisy is being fostered in North Carolina.
