Eight-year-old Milton is an adorable, nine pound, black and white Havanese. He’s a happy and mellow guy who doesn’t need to rock the boat to be happy. His foster mom says he goes along with whatever is happening around him.
Milton does well with kids and likes both men and women. He really likes sleeping up on the bed with his foster parents at night and is good company when you’re lounging on the couch watching TV or reading a book. When his foster mom comes home from work, he joins his canine foster siblings in dancing in circles on his back legs in anticipation of a treat.
Milton gets along well with other dogs in his foster home and also has visited the dog park and made friends with other dogs there. He has not been exposed to cats.
Consistent with his easy going personality, Milton is house trained and leash trained. He enjoys walks and hopes he can continue this once he’s adopted. He is even good about being bathed and groomed. What a guy!
Milton has a condition called dry eye. This means he doesn’t produce tears, so he needs eye drops twice a day. This makes it a little difficult for him to see so he’s a rather cautious dog.
Milton would love a family of his very own. He likes spending time both with people and dogs and would enjoy another small canine companion in his forever home. He’ll be fine as an only dog though if he can have enough time to spend with his people. With his loving and easy going personality, Milton will be a wonderful addition for the family fortunate enough to adopt him.
