Monte is a gentle, easygoing boy who is 10 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He is all about fun and likes to play. He loves to cuddle with his human, go for walks, and roll on his back. 
Monte is a smart guy and learns easily. He is house trained and leash trained, and although he likes to forge ahead on a walk, he is learning to mosey at a more sedate pace. His health is good in general. He needs to have dental surgery after which his health will be excellent overall.
He is good with all humans and good with other dogs; cats are an unknown quantity. Although Monte likes other dogs, he wants to be the center of attention and hopes to be the only dog in his new home.
Monte is being fostered in New Jersey.
