Cleo is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. She gets along well with other dogs. She absolutely loves playing with toys and can entertain herself (and her foster mom) with her antics.  She is very snuggly and loves having her tummy rubbed.

Cleo has had surgery to correct a condition called Legg Calve Perthes which affects the head of her femur. She has done very well and is doing physical therapy so she can strengthen the muscles in the affected leg and also realize that she can bear weight on that leg. Ongoing physical therapy will be very important to ensure she is bearing weight on all four legs so she does not need to have surgery on her other hip. If you are willing to work on her physical therapy, Cleo is ready to meet you.

Cleo is extremely playful and must have another dog in the house as a playmate and she must have a securely fenced in yard. She is TINY, and could easily get out of fencing with pickets or posts spaced more than an inch and a half or fences that don't come down to the ground. She is great in the car and would love to tag along to soccer games or other activities.

Cleo is being fostered in NC.Cleo2
