Nine-year-old Oliver (“Ollie”) is a smart and lovable guy looking for a cozy couch and lap to claim as his very own. This devoted and sweet boy loves treats and snuggling. He is more than willing to work for his treats. His favorite toy is an IQ Treat Ball - a puzzle filled with kibble that is rolled around in order to get the kibble to drop out so it can be eaten. Practice makes perfect so Ollie is a pro!
Ollie gets along with other dogs in the house, but gets a bit grumpy when he meets one while out walking on his leash. Otherwise, Ollie walks well on a leash without pulling.
It would be best if Ollie’s future life did not include a family cat. He doesn’t like them and apparently the feeling is mutual.
Ollie is on a special diet due to a chronic digestive issue. He also has some skin allergies that are alleviated with a monthly shot. We are investigating whether or not further adjustments to his diet would help with his skin allergies. On occasion he does have dry eye, but that is easily remedied with eye drops as needed.
Ollie currently sleeps in his crate until he perfects his house training. He is working on this issue while in foster care.
Ollie is being fostered in Northern California.
