Duchess is a delightful four-year-old Havanese who has charmed her foster family during her stay with them. She is 9.5 pounds of love and playfulness. She has a shiny black coat with a bit of a white goatee and small patches of white on her toes and tummy. What a cute girl!
Duchess is sweet and affectionate and enjoys snuggling with her people. She needs a tee shirt that declares, “Rub my belly, make a wish!” Duchess is relatively young and spirited and needs some interactive play time every day. She’s so engaging that this is not a chore! Duchess loves little more than a good game of fetch. She is also willing to play by herself with her toys as well as playing with other dogs.
Duchess enjoys the company of other dogs and has good dog manners. She is reported to do well with children over the age of 12. It’s unknown how she does with younger children or cats. Duchess is leash trained and enjoys regular walks. She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate at night. At this time she’s refining her house training skills and may need a refresher course when she gets to her forever home while she adjusts to a new environment.
