Three-year-old Nook is adjusting well to his foster home. Nook, who weighs 19 pounds, is very shy and is slow to warm up to a new environment. Once he’s comfortable though, his easygoing personality shines through.
His foster mom says he’s a very undemanding and nicely balanced dog. Nook is house trained and crate trained.
He enjoys his fenced yard, but he especially loves to get his exercise on long walks. The walks help him form a bond with his people as well as giving him a good look at the world. He gets excited in anticipation of his daily walks.
Nook needs a quiet and patient home to help him feel comfortable. He is slow to trust and needs confidence building.
Nook does well with other dogs, but it’s unknown how he interacts with cats. He does fine with mature children over the age of 12.
Nook is being fostered in Wisconsin.
