JOY 2018 HEADSHOTJoy (joi) – noun: a feeling of great pleasure and happiness. Exactly how you feel when you adopt a dog in need of their forever home.

Joy1We happen to have a little Joy ready to make your family complete.Four years old and full of love - her favorite activity is snuggling on the couch with her people.

Joy is very smart and willing to learn new tricks and behaviors. Sitting for a treat is her latest accomplishment. Joy is also working on walking on a JOY 2018leash. We have no doubt this sweet girl will master this skill as well.

Joy has just about conquered potty training. She hasn’t had accidents while in foster care but will just need some close attention when she arrives at her new home to ensure she keeps this excellent record. She hasn’t quite learned to ask to go out, so setting up and sticking to a regular walk schedule should prove successful.

An ideal home for Joy would include a fenced-in yard with someone who is home most of the time. Joy seems more comfortable with women, but with time we think she would warm up to anyone. She really just wants someone to hang out with, and by hang out we mean follow around no matter what they are doing. Joy every second of the day – what could be better?JOY 2018 SOFA CLOSE
JOY is being fostered in North Carolina.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
