Oreo is approximately 1-2 years old who was found as a stray in New York. He spent several weeks there before he was adopted out, only to be returned 2 months later. The staff at the Shelter knew him to be a sweetheart and felt it best he go to a breed rescue.
Oreo is a sweet 11 lb neutered boy who is totally house trained. He is believed to be a Havanese with a little Shih Tzu in him. He walks well on the leash, and gets along very nicely with his foster brother and sisters.
Oreo's favorite thing is a fan or hair dryer. He loves to just stand there and have his hair blown - maybe he thinks he is a super model :) 
Oreo has made great strides in learning what is appropriate behavior, and given time and patience is learning that strangers are ok!
