Sally is a beautiful 6 year old Havanese girl who began life with a back yard breeder as a breeding dog. She was eventually adopted by a wonderful family, but through unfortunate circumstances they could not control, were unable to keep her and give her the time and love she needed.
Sally is a little timid and shy, clearly not used to love and affection. But true to the Havanese breed, she's slowly warming up and learning to love belly rubs. She's also beginning to seek affection, lying down with her foster mom and snuggling, then rolling over for more belly rubs! She knows her name, and really loves her treats.
Sally is a gentle girl, enjoying all the affection she can get and gently taking the treats from your hand. Sally is learning how to play, and getting to know all about toys and how fun they can be. She clearly loves her bed, and has found one of the others in the home to be quite comfy as well!
She gets along well with her foster brothers but is still a little shy and unsure.
With a little time,love, and patience, Sally will make a remarkable pet and companion. That remarkable Havanese personality and confidence is peeking through the surface, and with time and patience, we'll see it emerge.
Sally is being fostered in LA
