Ebony is a 2 year old mix, and as you can see from her pictures, has a coat that is a very deep and beautiful black. Her fur is also wavy and soft.
Ebony has had little human contact or attention, so she is a very shy and timid girl but is very sweet and gentle. Her foster mom says though that even for the short time she’s been in foster care, she can see her slowly coming around and beginning to seek attention and affection. The most amazing part is, she dearly loves to curl up in the bed with her foster parents, and has decided that is the best way to sleep! She also loves to hang out in her crate, and willingly goes in when asked.
Ebony enjoys the company of other dogs, and is starting to show interest in what her sisters are doing. She hasn’t played with toys yet, but she did start to show interest in a chewy. Her foster mom knows that with a lot of love and patience, this sweet little girl will be just fine.
It will take time for Ebony to learn to trust, but she seems to be settling in and enjoying her foster home and family.
Ebony also enjoys her walks, although at first she wasn’t too sure about a leash. She loves the outside and being there with her foster mom and sisters, but is learning the inside is a great place too with all kinds of good food. And of course that soft bed to sleep at night is a perk for sure!
Ebony will need a home with a tall, secure fence as she’s an expert escape artist, and can scale a fence before you know it. When she’s ready for her forever home, a tall, secure fence will be a must.
