Rico is a sweet and gentle boy, who will turn 4 in August. He loves to play with other dogs but can easily entertain himself, too. Rico is a beautiful silver color with a curly coat, soft as silk.
Rico loves all people and children and prefers to have someone around most of the time. He's doing great in his foster family's busy house, he loves all the people coming and going. Everyone that meets Rico loves him. He's a lap lover and a snuggler, too.
He would like a family that is home much of the time or that can take him along when they travel ( he's great in the car). Rico loves going out on his foster dad's boat, too!
Rico is in great health, chipped, up to date on his vaccines, and has even had his teeth cleaned. He does have wobbly knees sometimes, the vet says grade 2 luxating patellas. They do not cause him pain, he stands and walks on his rear legs, jumps on and off furniture, goes up and down stairs. The vet recommends that Rico be given a joint supplement to prevent any future problems.
