Hawk is a 6 month old puppy, about 9 pounds, full of kisses and wiggles and puppy energy to spare, with a tail that never stops wagging. A combination of Havanese and Pomeranian, he is chock full of pure puppy exuberance now that he's freed from a shut down puppy mill. He is a sweet puppy, and will ask to get in your lap for snuggles and kisses and then quickly need to get down to take care of all the many things he thinks he needs to do. He is a very busy little man. Watch your slippers; they will quickly disappear. And he’s a master at getting into a laundry hamper so careful with your clothes!
He is indeed a very happy puppy. His escapades are adorable to watch, and he sure knows it! Hawk dearly loves to play fetch and steal anything within his reach, running madly through the house in glee; what a heart stealer he is! He looks for the biggest toys and prances around holding something bigger than he is, proud as a peacock. One of his favorite toys is a toy ‘rock’ that one of his bigger foster brothers plays with. It weighs more than Hawk, but he struggles to carry it as far as his little mouth can go which isn’t far at all! He is a natural fetcher, and learning to bring back to you what he fetches is a work in progress! His most favorite toys though are ones that squeak. If you’re trying to find him stay very still; you’ll soon hear a ‘squeak, squeak’ in the distance and there Hawk will be.
Hawk has a beautiful, soft coat which is nice and shiny. He has an adorable face. He will use a pee pad, but his housebreaking will need to be continued.
He would do well in a young home. His wish list would also be to have other dogs, but young ones to keep up with his energy. He loves other dogs. He also likes children, but they need to be older.
He is now neutered and micro-chipped, ready for his forever home and ready to give lots of kisses.
