Brandon is a five-year old cream-colored Havanese with golden brown eyes, sweet nature, alert and well-mannered boy. He is looking for a family to provide him with love, fun and a canine companion to play games of toy-toss and fetch.

Brandon really loves his toys especially chasing his baby "squirrel" and he always greets his foster mom at the door with a toy in his mouth. Brandon can even dance on his back legs for a treat. He loves to be petted and have his tummy rubbed. He is also a cat-friendly pooch -- polite, but playful with the foster family cat.

This "pretty" boy is crate-trained and is very comfortable in the crate when his foster family is away. He was trained to sleep in his crate, but has been enjoying a new spot on the bed at night jumping-up only when invited.

Brandon likes children, but quick, sudden movements by little ones startle him occasionally. We recommend older respectful children or an adult household for his forever home.

Brandon likes to ride in the car and is learning to walk more frequently on a leash. During his walks he has his "nose-to- the-ground" getting acquainted with all of the new smells. He likes the out-of-doors and sits nicely to get leashed.

Brandon's new family will need to be committed to putting a drop of medicine in his right eye every day (Brandon had successful cataract surgery).  Brandon will make a wonderful companion and snuggle-bug for one lucky home. He looks forward to finding a place in your heart as he has in his foster family's.brandon_2_s
