Oliver is a boy that requires daily exercise. He loves to go on a run with his foster mom but a good brisk walk will please him too. His foster mom is helping him learn to loose leash walk, he's just so excited to hit the trail he still pulls a lot.
His favorite activities are running, playing fetch and tug and of course receiving belly rubs. He needs to have plenty of toys for entertainment he especially loves his antler. He doesn't mind sharing and enjoys the company of his foster sister who he plays with gently.
He would compliment a family with or without kids, as long as he can be with his people. He is very sensitive and submissive and truly wants to please. Oliver gets along with other dogs, ignores the bird, but dislikes cats. He gets so happy when his people return home that he's a very bouncy boy, but he's learning that he gets greeted when he sits down. It's really as if he wants to jump in your arms and give you a hug.
Oliver responds well to positive reinforcement. He is potty trained, sits, comes when called, is crate trained and quick to learn. He always wants to be snuggled and is definitely a lap dog. Despite the mysteries of his past he has a joyful spirit. He is more than ready for a family that can commit to him for the rest of his life.
Oliver is being fostered in CA.
