Bambi is a dainty little 7 month old lady, who loves ear scratches, belly rubs, lots of attention and is the classic Velcro sweetie that loves to cuddle. Her favorite spot is sitting next to you on the sofa or beside you at the computer, where she will reward you with lots of Hav-kisses.
She is a classic Havanese with a beautiful, soft wavy coat - mostly white with black around the eyes and ears and a couple of black spots on her back.
Bambi came from a commercial breeding facility, but being young she is adapting just beautifully to a regular household. Highly intelligent and alert, she is learning manners by leaps and bounds. Every day brings new adventures and she just loves to learn. She also loves to take off and RLH like all Havanese.
It's been so much fun to introduce her to toys, treats and all the fun she has not been able to have so far in her life. She shows a little fear in crowds, but will improve as she is introduced gradually. And while she is still a little hand shy that is diminishing daily also. The house-training is still a work in progress, but this too will just take a little time, she is so smart and just loves to please and get praise.
Bambi is just under 9lbs and would prefer a quiet home, with other dogs and perhaps a cat. A household where someone is home most of the time would be wonderful, a home with people that have lots and lots of love to give and want to receive much love in return is the home that Bambi is hoping for.
Bambi is being fostered in northen Florida.
