If you remember “Jennifer Juniper” or “Sunshine Superman” then you will appreciate the new kid on the block at HRI. His name is Donovan and he is as cute as his name is nostalgic. This handsome 3 year old neutered male dog is very sweet and he is looking for a family to call his own.
Donovan is crate trained & house broken, although he will use wee wee pads if necessary. He is doing well learning to walk on a leash. He weighs in at about 15 pounds. Donovan was very shy for the first few weeks at his foster home, but as he learns to trust his new family, he is also learning the joy of playing with toys & enjoying the company of his canine siblings and also his teenage children.

ty is sitting in the lap of someone he loves. He is looking for a home that is calm and peaceful, with people who have the time to indulge him in this favorite activity! Although Donovan does fine with other dogs, he would be just as happy to be an only dog. He is a quiet and calm dog whose foster family calls a lover.
