Rascal in AL2

Meet Rascal, the youngest 10.5 year old HRI has to offer! Rascal is a sweet, laid back, delightful pup that will warm your lap and your heart! He loves his neck and belly rubbed, and will even beg for more if he thinks he hasn't had enough! Give him a chance and he'll show off all of his tricks and how well he can dance about on his hind legs -- not bad for a senior citizen!

He loves to ride in the car, which he is quite used to now, being that his travels with HRI have taken him from Ohio to Kentucky, and now Alabama! Rascal is getting the grand tour of the US and is ready to see great new Rascal_in_ALthings with a kind retired couple of his own that can provide plenty of lap space and attention.

Rascal loves to go for walks and walks great on a leash. He is housebroken and does a great job of letting you know if he has to go outside. He sleeps on the floor or on his bed in the bedroom. He is not big on playing with toys, Rascal_in_AL2but loves other dogs. His forever home would ideally have a dog companion for him to play with. He does well with children and cats too. Rascal is perfectly content with all the pets you have to offer!

Rascal has an asymptomatic heart murmur and significant dental disease. He eats softened food to make it easier on his aging teeth. And this boy loves his food, weighing in at 18lbs! We are working to help him lose some weight so he can enjoy being young!  Rascal wants you to know that 10 is just a number, what it does mean is that he is wiser and smarter than Rascal_in_AL3most.

Rascal would love a forever home with someone home most of the day to love him as much as possible and to spoil him the way any pup should be. Rascal knows the good things in life are just ahead of him....

Rascal is being fostered in AL.
