Bella is a 7 year old, curly black Havanese mix who is an incredibly adorable, petite yet sturdy girl who will make someone a wonderful companion. She loves to be "in your lap close!" when you're sitting down and she will curl up tight against you at night.
Bella really loves being outside in the back yard and she comes pretty quickly when called. Knowing that means a treat will be offered helps a lot in her training! She chows down her dinner at night and eats a little kibble and a few treats during the day. She isn't much of a barker, but like any Hav will sound the alarm when someone comes home, when another dog goes by outside, when the leashes come out and when it's time for dinner!
Bella can sit on command, and appears to be house trained. She would benefit from leash and obedience training like any other dog. She doesn't seem interested in the resident cat and probably wouldn't mind going to a home where she was the only dog - that way she could get all the attention1
Bella is being fostered in Massachusetts.
