Charlie is a beautiful boy with a creamy soft coat and a personality to match. He weighs a solid 14 pounds and is approximately 5 years and 9 months old. Charlie was rescued from a puppy mill and is learning to trust one day at a time - and is already making remarkable progress.
He is currently receiving care for wounds sustained when he bolted and took a scary little 7 day adventure.
Charlie's eyes are so big and full of curiosity about everything around him and he is certainly ready for all the new experiences he is encountering. He loves attention, likes to be petted and now giving kisses in return. He is walking very well on leash and loves going for walks.
Charlie is very smart and already goes to the door to go potty most of the time, and is learning by staying on a puttying schedule. Charlie is following his foster sister's lead and doesn't want to disappoint! His newest achievement is hauling all the toys out of the toy basket so his foster mom will put them all back for him to do it all over again - told you Charlie is smart!
Charlie is a boy with a huge heart, a very gentle soul and will give love back double as you dish it out to him. He is healthy and has figured out what "treats and cookies" are. These are things he has never had before, but he is right there when the treat jar comes out now! He has started to notice his foster sister and actually gave her a kiss the other day; it must be his way of showing his appreciation for her "directions".
Charlie is a sheer joy and continues to blossom as he's gaining yet more confidence and getting more comfortable. His wish is to now find the family that has lots of love and patience and he promises to give back all the love, affection and understanding they give him.
Charlie is being fostered in Florida.
