Got kids? Like the expression "Got Milk", Koko requires a house brimming with kids! This milky white and black parti Havanese is a youthful five-year-old. He is very gentle and affectionate with a very laid back personality. He warmed up instantly to the two young boys in his foster home and tends to gravitate to them. His best friend is his foster family's 11-year-old son. He likes lots of attention and enjoys cuddling and belly rubs.
Koko loves the excitement and play involved with 7 and 11-year-old boys in the house and follows them all over when they are home. This sweet boy is house and crate-trained, loves to go for walks and weighs a very healthy 15 pounds.
Koko's perfect home would include respectful and loving children who would be willing to share their time with Koko. A fenced backyard is not necessary, but someone who has the time to take him for nice long walks would be preferable.
While Koko initially was a bit wary of the man of the house, it only took three weeks but now they are cuddle-buddies! In his forever home Koko may need this adjustment period to warm up to a forever dad, so a bit of patience may be needed until they connect.
Koko will benefit from training to build his confidence, perhaps an obedience class or two. We also feel he will grow and thrive in a home where he is the only dog and can have all his family's attention. Initially he was somewhat fearful of strangers but is improving on that front as well. His mom says he is the perfect pup who deserves a perfect forever home.
Koko is patiently waiting for a family just as special as he is and is being fostered in PA.
