Eleven-year-old Peaches is as sweet as her name. She came to HRI after her owner passed away. This darling girl was a little hesitant at first, but her loving nature has helped her adjust to her foster family.
Peaches, who weighs 11 pounds, loves to lounge and spend time with her foster mom. She’s very loving and is pretty sure she should always be on someone’s lap.
She has two mature cataracts but can see a little and is able to follow hand movements. Peaches needs her teeth cleaned before she will be ready for adoption. Her health is otherwise reported to be good.
Peaches is described as getting along with other dogs, but it is unknown how she interacts with cats. She is comfortable with both men and women as well as with children over the age of 10. We are unaware of how she gets along with younger children.
In her former home, Peaches was always indoors and used piddle pads instead of going outside. Her foster mom will be working with Peaches on her house training.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
