Silvia is a very sweet senior Havanese new to rescue. She is shy until she warms up to people which happens fairly quickly. She is 13-years-old and weighs 20 pounds. Silvia has adjusted well to her foster family.
Silvia likes to sit back and enjoy life and appreciates having her hair brushed as well as the pleasure of a good belly rub. She does well alone but likes being around people, getting along with both men and women and considerate children. Her foster family describes her as a couch potato. While Silvia is pretty low energy, she does enjoy a short run with another dog in the fenced-in backyard. Her favorite hobby is to sit at the front window watching what is happening outside.
Silvia is healthy overall though she gets eye medication for one dry eye. She snores loudly when she naps, undoubtedly enjoying a good dream.
Silvia is hoping for a family of her very own. This loving girl would be a great addition for a family looking for a calm and friendly Havanese to keep them quiet company.
