Sad news from Dancer's people. She was a well-loved member of the family.
"Our beloved Dancer (aka Bug) crossed the rainbow bridge on May 8. Her two brothers, Mitch and Merlin, and her cousin Lita Lu (a loving Havanese Rescue) were waiting to greet her to romp, play, and snuggle again. Dancer came to us as a foster 9 years ago and immediately put her paws down to make our household her forever home. She came as a shy, nervous sweet girl who quickly warmed the hearts of all. She was extremely sensitive and certainly took over the role of the caring, big-hearted mother of the pack. She liked to curl up next to Mitch or a human at night: always touching someone. She loved to play and her toy mouse was her favorite. She'd make it squeak, then she'd talk to it and finally toss it into the air. This past year after we moved to Fl, she looked forward to her evening golf cart ride. Her last night with us, she had "happy face" as we went for our ride. Our hearts ache but the great memories of our sweet little girl will last our life time and knowing she no longer is in pain brings us peace. Every night as we went to bed I'd say "love you Bug" and give her a kiss on the top of her head. Pleasant dreams "Bug" and have fun with your brothers."
All eyes turn to admire the lovely little lady that has just entered through the doggie door. Her name is Ms Dancer. She is a beauty and seems to have that certain aura about her that draws everyone's attention. Ms. Dancer is a 7 year old girl who is very sweet and had everyone at the vet office fawning over her.
Dancer was surrendered to HRI because she did not get along well with her canine siblings. She weighs 11 pounds and is as sweet as sugar. Dancer loves to snuggle and is fantastic with humans. She likes to perch on the sofa as she gazes out of the window. Ms. Dancer seems to do well with some dogs. This beautiful Queen Bee enjoys riding in the car, playing ball, racing around the yard and going for walks. She is attentive and sweet and loves belly rubs. She is housebroken and knows some basic commands.
Ms. Dancer would love to find a home where someone is home most of the day. She loves attention and is looking for someone to love her. With a face like hers, who could resist?
