Silas is a 3- to 5-year-old Havanese. He weighs 15.7 pounds.
This cute guy is black with white on his chin and his toes.
Silas is a sweet and calm dog. He loves lying on his back so his tummy can be scratched by his foster family.
He does well with children and is a loving family member. Silas also gets along with other dogs. He doesn't do well with cats. Silas loves playing with squeaky toys and will fetch them if someone throws the toy for him. He's taken up a shoe collection on his doggie pillow, but doesn't chew on them. He just likes to have them nearby!
Silas enjoys walking on a leash. He also likes exploring in his backyard, but would love to be an escape artist and looks for possible holes or exits in the fence. He needs to be closely supervised because of this behavior.
Silas is working on coming when called. He's also working on house training with his foster family.
Silas is looking for a forever family that wants to spend time with him. He'd enjoy a small dog as a canine companion. He'll continue to need work on his house training and learning the "come" command.
Silas is being fostered in Texas.
